Animal control program near Deep Creek National Park, Ballaparudda Creek Recreation Park and the Wild South Coast Way

Aerial Deer control undertaken by PIRSA and Hills & Fleurieu Landscapes Board will occur between 19 September and 30 September 2022. No shooting will occur in any of the parks or the Heysen Trail corridor however visitors may hear helicopters in the area (primarily dawn and dusk), or hear gunshots.

Marion Council has reopened 2kms of the Coastal Walkway between Marino and Hallett Cove Conservation Park. A 500 metre section between Kurnabinna and Grey Road gullies, Hallett Cove remains closed. A diversion is in place around the gullies. This section is not in the Hallett Cove Conservation Park, the boardwalk remains open to park visitors.

Parking will still be available at the Resource Centre car park and along Morialta Falls Rd, but will be extremely limited.
