Hallett Cove

Marion Council has reopened 2kms of the Coastal Walkway between Marino and Hallett Cove Conservation Park. A 500 metre section between Kurnabinna and Grey Road gullies, Hallett Cove remains closed. A diversion is in place around the gullies. This section is not in the Hallett Cove Conservation Park, the boardwalk remains open to park visitors.

The car park area at Gate 1, off Scott Creek Road, is temporarily closed while construction works take place at the park from the beginning of December 2021 to mid-April 2022.

These works include expanding the car park to allow for approximately 20 extra parking spaces, and installing new park entry, trailhead and wayfinding signage.

Nearby, trail and picnic shelter upgrades will be also be underway which may cause some limited disruptions to visitors.
