Finders Chase National Park and Ravine Des Casoars Wilderness Protection Area are closed for general public access until further notice due to bushfire recovery. The park has reopened to commercial tourism operators to provide guided tours along a safe corridor. Sealink will operate tours into the park from Saturday 6 June.

All internal park access roads and campgrounds east of the Minnipa-Yardea Road and the area north of the Pine Lodge Track will be closed from 6:00 am Saturday 24 October 2020 until 6:00 pm Friday 30 October 2020.20. The Organ Pipes Road along with the Yandinga and Scrubby Peak campgrounds will remain open during this period.

Marion Council has reopened 2kms of the Coastal Walkway between Marino and Hallett Cove Conservation Park. A 500 metre section between Kurnabinna and Grey Road gullies, Hallett Cove remains closed. A diversion is in place around the gullies.

Visitor access to Sacred Canyon in Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park is changing. From 1 April 2020, visitor access to Sacred Canyon will only be allowed through commercial tour operators that are approved to provide Adnyamathanha guided tours. Adnyamathanha guides will also running tours to Sacred Canyon which can be booked through Wilpena Pound Resort.

Aerial baiting with 1080 meat baits will be occurring across Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park on Wednesday 3 June 2020. The baits may be active for some months until rain causes the active agent to breakdown. These baits are toxic to domestic animals, which are not permitted in the park.
