Seal Bay Conservation Park

Published: 17 August 2026

Access to the beach has been temporarily paused to help protect the sea lion colony.

Seal Bay will remain open to visitors with a roaming guide providing interpretation along the boardwalk.

Guided boardwalk experiences are available. Simply enquire at the Seal Bay Visitor Centre upon arrival.

Advance bookings are not required. Tickets can be purchased at the Seal Bay Visitor Centre.

The Seal Bay Visitor Centre and self-guided boardwalk remain open between 9am-5pm (last entry 4pm).

The updated access is due to a suspected positive case of bird flu within a Crested Tern.
