Maplands
The Department for Environment and Water’s Mapland service offers a comprehensive range of bushwalking maps and publications to support safe and enjoyable exploration. These resources include detailed topographic maps for national parks such as Cleland, Deep Creek, Ikara-Flinders Ranges, Lincoln, Coffin Bay, and Coorong National Parks. Each map features walking trails, elevation contours, park facilities, and safety information.
For long-distance hikers, Mapland provides an eight-sheet Heysen Trail map series, covering the 1,200 km trail from Cape Jervis to Parachilna Gorge. These maps are printed on durable, waterproof stone paper and include elevation profiles and planning tips.
Most maps are available for purchase through Mapland, with prices ranging from $10 to $15 depending on the product. For more information or to order, visit the Mapland website or contact the team directly.
