A per­mit is not required to under­take film­ing or pho­tog­ra­phy in South Australia’s nation­al parks for ama­teur purposes.

Com­mer­cial film­ing and photography

A per­mit is required to under­take film­ing or pho­tog­ra­phy in South Australia’s nation­al parks for com­mer­cial pur­pos­es. Film­ing or pho­tog­ra­phy is defined as com­mer­cial’ when the inten­tion is to pro­mote a prod­uct or ser­vice and/​or achieve finan­cial gain from the film­ing or photography.

In all cas­es, it is a require­ment that the Guide­lines for Com­mer­cial Film­ing and Pho­tog­ra­phy in Parks are followed.
