Track closure at Morialta Conservation Park, Black Hill Conservation Park and Horsnell Gully Conservation Park
Published: 13 August 2026
Heavy rainfall has affected conditions across multiple parks in the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges. Some trails and tracks may be flooded, slippery, eroded or impassable, with hazards including mud, washouts, fallen branches, debris and standing water. Creek crossings may be unsafe and conditions can change rapidly without warning. Visitors are advised to check park alerts before visiting, obey all closure signs, take extra care on tracks and trails, and avoid flooded areas and flowing water.
See below for temporary trail closures. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
