Pen­guin pro­gram takes out 2025 South Aus­tralian Cit­i­zen Sci­ence Awards

Two cit­i­zen sci­ence projects, one which focus­es on lit­tle pen­guins and the oth­er on mos­qui­to-borne ill­ness­es, have been announced as win­ners of the 2025 South Aus­tralian Cit­i­zen Sci­ence Awards.

Huge expan­sion of Nilpe­na Edi­acara Nation­al Park a boost to tourism and biodiversity

Nilpe­na Edi­acara Nation­al Park, South Australia’s newest nation­al park, will expand by 26,000 hectares after the South Aus­tralian Gov­ern­ment acquired the adja­cent Nilpe­na Station.


Roam the Ranges this July

The Ikara-Flinders Ranges is the Nation­al Parks and Wildlife Ser­vice (NPWS) park of the month with July offer­ing dou­ble the fun as it coin­cides with NAIDOC Week (6 ‑13 July) and the school holidays. 


Sig­nif­i­cant expan­sion of the War­ren­ben Con­ser­va­tion Park on Yorke Peninsula

Villa­wood Prop­er­ties has gift­ed almost 1000 hectares of eco­log­i­cal­ly sig­nif­i­cant land to the War­ren­ben Con­ser­va­tion Park locat­ed on Narung­ga coun­try on the south-east Yorke Penin­su­la, 12 km north-east of Mar­i­on Bay.
