Drones (remote­ly pilot­ed air­craft) It is an offence to fly drones (remote­ly pilot­ed air­craft) over South Australia’s nation­al parks, con­ser­va­tion parks, game reserves, recre­ation parks or region­al reserves and marine park restrict­ed access zones with­out a permit

Any com­pa­ny, organ­i­sa­tion or indi­vid­ual propos­ing to car­ry out com­mer­cial activ­i­ties with­in the parks sys­tem requires a licence

When plan­ning your tour itin­er­ary we encour­age you to first deter­mine if your pro­posed activ­i­ty is per­mit­ted in the park you are visiting

To become licensed, oper­a­tors need to: com­plete an Appli­ca­tion form 

Com­mer­cial Tour Oper­a­tor (CTO) Licences are avail­able for terms from two months to five years
