The per person entry fee will also be waived at Flinders Chase National Park on Kangaroo Island, including the 2 day entry.

Why are these parks being made free to visit?

The initiative is one of many outlined in the State Government’s Algal Bloom Summer Plan, which is designed to protect South Australia’s coast, back coastal communities and support our summer lifestyle.

These parks are very popular coastal parks, and we are doing our bit to ensure the public get to enjoy them.

Guests can enter the parks without making a booking, for the included coastal parks only. However, we recommend making a booking online for park entry, there is no cost to do so.

What about camping fees?

Overnight camping fees will still apply. To book your campsite, visit your selected park page here.
