Full closure of Vulkathunha-Gammon Ranges National Park

Vulkathun­ha-Gam­mon Ranges Nation­al Park will be closed for pub­lic safe­ty from 9pm Sat­ur­day 7 March until 9pm Fri­day 13 March 2026 for a pest con­trol and mon­i­tor­ing program.

All camp­grounds and accom­mo­da­tion will be closed including:

  • Main­wa­ter Well
  • Arcoona
  • Italowie
  • Wee­t­oot­la
  • Grindells Hut and campgrounds
  • Nud­la­mu­tana Hut
  • Bal­canoona Shear­er’s Quarters
