Part closure of Murray River National Park

The sec­tion of Lock 4 Road between camp­sites 13 and Ngak Indau Wet­land with­in Mur­ray Riv­er Nation­al Park — Katara­p­ko, will be closed for pub­lic safe­ty due to flood­ing for envi­ron­men­tal water­ing from 20 Octo­ber until 7 Novem­ber 2025. 

Clo­sures:

• The sec­tion of Lock 4 Road between camp­site 13 and the Ngak Indau Wet­land (note: all camp­sites are still accessible)

Entry/​Access:

• The park is still acces­si­ble via Drap­er Road (Lock 4 entrance) and the Katara­p­ko entrance on Katara­p­ko Cres­cent via Winkie road
• Access to camp­sites 1 — 13 is via Drap­er Road (Lock 4 Entrance) and access to Lock 4 and camp­sites 14 — 55 is via the Katara­p­ko Cres­cent (Katara­p­ko Entrance)
