Full closure of Gawler Ranges National Park

Gawler Ranges Nation­al Park is closed for pub­lic safe­ty until fur­ther notice due to recent heavy rain­fall. All camp­grounds with­in the park are closed.

This clo­sure includes the sec­tion of Barns Road from Wudin­na through the park. 

DIT man­aged roads in the area are also closed, includ­ing Yardea Road to the north of the park and the route through Buck­le­boo from Kim­ba. Please check DIT road clo­sures web­site for fur­ther information/​updates.

For the safe­ty of vis­i­tors and emer­gency ser­vices, please do not attempt to access these tracks. They are wet, haz­ardous, and unsafe to drive.

Track con­di­tions will be reviewed reg­u­lar­ly, and the park will be reopened to vis­i­tors when it is safe to do so.
