Environmental Education Action Plan

The Envi­ron­men­tal Edu­ca­tion Action Plan 2021 – 2024 is a co-designed pro­gram to be deliv­ered by the Depart­ment for Envi­ron­ment and Water and the Depart­ment for Edu­ca­tion. The Pro­gram sup­ports local stu­dents to get out of the class­room more often and into local parks, gar­dens and nation­al parks. It also sup­ports edu­ca­tion and career path­ways for stu­dents. The five key areas are:

• Learn­ing in nature
• Tools for teaching
• Stu­dent pathways
• Under­stand­ing con­ser­va­tion and sustainability
• Part­ner­ing with Com­mu­ni­ties and industry
