    Coorong Nation­al Park Ocean Beach con­di­tions are reg­u­lar­ly chang­ing at this time of the year due to severe ero­sion and dune col­laps­es asso­ci­at­ed with high tides and sea surges. Dri­ving on the Coorong Nation­al Park Ocean Beach can be a high risk activ­i­ty under these con­di­tions which could affect your per­son­al safe­ty and could result in dam­age to your vehicle.

  • Pic­can­ninie Ponds Con­ser­va­tion Park

    Pic­canin­nie Ponds is remain­ing closed for immer­sive water activ­i­ties until fur­ther notice to allow for the regen­er­a­tion of aquat­ic veg­e­ta­tion and fau­na species fol­low­ing an out­break of fil­a­men­tous algae. The con­ser­va­tion park remains open to the pub­lic, how­ev­er entry into the water for div­ing and snor­kel­ing is not per­mit­ted and per­mits are not being issued.

  • Lash­mar Con­ser­va­tion Park

    The Chap­man Riv­er water lev­el has dropped and access is per­mit­ted via Creek Bay Road and Cape Willough­by Road. Vis­i­tors are advised to take care when dri­ving along unsealed roads.

  • Gawler Ranges Nation­al Park

    Please note there are cur­rent­ly bees through­out Gawler Ranges Nation­al Park, please take cau­tion when in the area.

  • Mori­al­ta Con­ser­va­tion Park

    The board­walk on Plateau Hike above Giants Cave has been closed for safe­ty rea­sons. Access to Plateau Hike is avail­able via Sec­ond Falls Hike and Third Falls Hike.

  • Mem­o­ry Cove Wilder­ness Pro­tec­tion Area

    Civ­il con­struc­tion work is cur­rent­ly being under­tak­en on a small area of track lead­ing into the Mem­o­ry Cove camp­ground. Please dri­ve with caution.

  • Cof­fin Bay Nation­al Park

    The 4WD track from Yang­ie Bay to Mor­gans Land­ing has deep ruts, nar­row pass­es & soft sandy sec­tions. Please use cau­tion when tra­vers­ing & dri­ve to con­di­tions. Sand flags & recov­ery tracks rec­om­mend­ed. Occa­sion­al­ly high tides inun­date sec­tions of the track with sea­wa­ter, we rec­om­mend avoid­ing peak tide times and check­ing water depths before crossing.

  • Chow­illa Game Reserve

    Due to envi­ron­men­tal water­ing at Chow­illa Game Reserve the track lead­ing to Brandy Bot­tle traf­fi­ca­ble ford is required to be closed until fur­ther notice.
