Full closure of Various Desert Parks

Witji­ra Nation­al Park, Munga-Thirri — Simp­son Desert Nation­al Park and Kati Than­da-Lake Eyre Nation­al Park remain closed until fur­ther notice for pub­lic safe­ty due to flood­ing damage.

Exten­sive rain­falls across cen­tral Aus­tralia have result­ed in flood­ing and exten­sive dam­age to roads. These parks will remain closed until access routes are re-opened and track con­di­tions have been made safe.
