Part closure of Para Wirra Conservation Park

Para Wirra Con­ser­va­tion Park will be par­tial­ly closed for pub­lic safe­ty dur­ing a pre­scribed burn from 10.30am — 11pm on Fri­day 9 May. 

Affect­ed area includes:

  • Para Wirra Dri­ve from Para Wirra Cen­tral to Gawler View Precinct
  • North Para Wirra Central
  • Para Wirra Drive
  • Gawler View (includ­ing Bush Oval, Nature Play For­est, BBQ’s and Lizard Rock Hike) and Hissey Pic­nic Ground
  • Par­tial clo­sure to South Para Grand Hike, between junc­tion at Scenic Dri­ve through to Hissey Hike (use Knob Look­out Track as alter­na­tive route for South Para Grand Hike)
