Part closure of Murray River National Park

Part of Lock 4 Road and camp­sites 4 – 14 are closed due to flood­ing for envi­ron­men­tal water­ing at Katara­p­ko until 17 Octo­ber 2025.

Clo­sures include:

• Lock 4 Road between Eck­erts Creek North Arm Bridge and Lock 4
• Camp­sites 4 – 14
• The Pig­gy Creek Out­fall Reg­u­la­tor – Day Vis­i­tor Site 

Entry/​Access:

• The park is still acces­si­ble via the Lock 4 entrance on Drap­er Road and the Katara­p­ko entrance on Katara­p­ko Crescent
• Access to camp­sites 1 and 2 is via Drap­er Road (Lock 4 Entrance) and access to Lock 4 and camp­sites 15 — 55 is via the Katara­p­ko Cres­cent (Katara­p­ko Entrance)
