Mount Lofty Summit

Essen­tial tree trim­ming works will be car­ried out at Mount Lofty Sum­mit from 13 to 14 Octo­ber 2025 (weath­er permitting).

These works are being car­ried out to reduce fire risk by low­er­ing fuel loads and to enhance the vis­i­tor expe­ri­ence by improv­ing scenic views from the sum­mit lookout.

Dur­ing this peri­od, work crews will be present on site, equip­ment use may gen­er­ate noise, and access to cer­tain areas could be tem­porar­i­ly restrict­ed to ensure pub­lic safety.
