Trail closure at Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park

Mul­ti­ple walk­ing trails with­in Ikara-Flinders Ranges Nation­al Park will be closed every night from Wednes­day 1 Novem­ber 2023 until Thurs­day 31 Octo­ber 2024 for the pur­pose of a pest con­trol pro­gram to be con­duct­ed after dark in the vicin­i­ty of the fol­low­ing tracks:

- Tre­zona Track
- Mount Sun­der­land Track
- Rifle Range Track
- Old Blin­man Track
- Jones Camp Track
- Tele­graph Track
- *St Mary Peak (out­side trail)
- *Cooin­da Track
- Pound Gap Track
- Wil­co­lo track

These trails will be closed night­ly between the fol­low­ing times:
• 9:00 pm to 5:00 am between Wednes­day 1 Novem­ber 2023 and Wednes­day 31 Jan­u­ary 2024
• 8:30 pm to 5:00 am between Wednes­day 31 Jan­u­ary 2024 and Thurs­day 29 Feb­ru­ary 2024
• 8:00 pm to 5:00 am between Thurs­day 29 Feb­ru­ary 2024 and Tues­day 30 April 2024
• 6:00 pm to 5:00 am between Tues­day 30 April 2024 and Wednes­day 31 July 2024
• 6:30 pm to 5:00 am between Wednes­day 31 July 2024 and Mon­day 30 Sep­tem­ber 2024
• 8:30 pm to 5:00 am between Mon­day 30 Sep­tem­ber 2024 and Thurs­day 31 Octo­ber 2024

All tracks and walk­ing trails will remain open out­side of these times.
