Track closure at Gawler Ranges National Park

Heavy rain in Gawler Ranges Nation­al Park has dam­aged sev­er­al tracks. The park is cur­rent­ly acces­si­ble by 4WD only, and vis­i­tors should dri­ve with cau­tion. Mat­tera Track (south­ern end) is also closed.

  • 2WD access is not permitted.

  • 4WD access only. Please pro­ceed with caution.

  • Mat­tera Track (south­ern end) 
    Please note: Mat­tera Camp­ground can be accessed via LP Track from the West, Shear­ing Shed or East, Yardea Road
