Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park – a ranger’s perspective

If you’re planning a trip to the Yorke Peninsula, don’t leave home without our ranger’s tips.

With warmer weather just around the corner and long days at the beach within arm’s reach, why not start making plans for the summer holidays?

South Australia’s national parks contain some of the state’s best beaches and Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park, often described as the jewel in the crown of the Yorke Peninsula, is no exception.

Positioned on the tip of the peninsula, the park is home to famous surf break and fishing spot Pondalowie Bay, as well as a number of great beaches where you can just lie back and relax, and soak in the sunshine.

There’s so much to see in Innes that you’ll want to stay overnight. If you’re more into glamping than camping, the park also boasts some great accommodation options to rest your head.

To get a taste of what Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park has to offer from the comfort of your lounge room, check out the video below featuring Ranger in Charge Mark Davison.
