Fowlers Bay Conservation Park

When you visit this park, keep an eye out for seabirds such as the Osprey, White-bellied Sea-Eagle, Hooded Plover, Pied Oystercatcher and Fairy Tern. Other wildlife includes Southern Hairynosed Wombats and Australian Sea-lions.

Don't forget your fishing rod! You have a good chance of catching salmon, mulloway, whiting and garfish.

  • Mexican Hat Flat Campground

    Enjoy the tran­quil scrub-land and views of coastal islands as the surf rolls in. The camp­ground has flat camp­sites with few shrubs with no shade. The site is an unal­lo­cat­ed camp­ing area for up to eight vehicles.

    Access 4WD.
    Suit­able for tents, camper trail­ers and caravans.
    Facil­i­ties, nil.
    Camp­fires allowed (sea­son­al fire restric­tions apply).
    Num­ber of camp­sites, unal­lo­cat­ed — max­i­mum of 8 vehicles.

  • Mexican Hat Headland Campground

    Enjoy the tran­quil scrub-land and views of coastal islands as the surf rolls in. The camp­ground has flat camp­sites with few shrubs with no shade. The site is an unal­lo­cat­ed camp­ing area for up to six vehi­cles and is 4WD access only.

  • Scotts Beach Campground

    Locat­ed at the south­ern edge of the park, this site has unal­lo­cat­ed camp­ing for twen­ty vehi­cles on a flat sandy beach. There is min­i­mal shade pro­tec­tion, how­ev­er you will be reward­ed with the tran­quil sounds of the coastal waves crash­ing to shore.
