Border Cliffs campground

Chowilla Game Reserve

Access via Paringa. Dogs are now permitted in the Border Cliffs campground, providing it is on a lead not exceeding three metres in length, or confined in a motor vehicle, trailer or vessel.
Border Cliffs Campground is located 30 km northeast of Paringa, along the banks of the River Murray. It's the perfect base for exploring the nearby Border Cliffs Customers House Wetland Walking Trail or launching a canoe or kayak. The campground provides areas of part shade and protection from wind on slightly sloping bare ground. Note, there is no phone reception once down in the campground.

Access 2WD and 4WD. Suitable for tents only on the river front. Caravans or campervans may use the car park area at their campsite but cannot access the river front. Facilities. Long-drop toilet, river access. NO CAMPFIRES ALLOWED DURING FIRE DANGER SEASON. Number of campsites. 5 allocated campsites. Electricity. Unpowered.
