Part closure of Various Parks - Riverland & Murraylands

Con­tin­ued rain­falls and cool tem­per­a­tures over the recent weeks have caused the clay tracks and camp­sites to become sat­u­rat­ed and inac­ces­si­ble to all vehi­cles. As a result sev­er­al camp­sites and day use areas have been closed until con­di­tions improve. Sev­er­al camp­sites have also been closed due to inun­da­tion event and con­struc­tion. Rangers will con­tin­ue to mon­i­tor track and camp­site con­di­tions and reopen sites when accessible. 

See below list of parks/​areas that are closed:

Kaiser Strip: Camp­sites 10 – 14 CLOSED until 11^th Octo­ber (dam­aged after rain)
Chow­illa: Camp­sites 8, 13 – 32 & Foley’s CLOSED (con­struc­tion)
Lyrup: Camp­sites 1, 14, 23, 29, 30 CLOSED until 11^th Octo­ber (dam­aged after rain)
Mor­gan: Camp­sites 13 – 15 CLOSED (con­struc­tion)
Katara­p­ko: Camp­sites 5 – 14, 17 – 18 CLOSED until 13^th Novem­ber (inun­da­tion) Camp­sites 31 – 32, 35, 45, 53 CLOSED until 23^rd Octo­ber (high water flows)
