Part closure of Various Parks - Riverland & Murraylands

Rain­fall in the River­land has made many clay roads and tracks into many camp­sites inac­ces­si­ble to all vehi­cles. Poten­tial rains over the com­ing days may fur­ther impact camp­sites and access into reserves may change, please be mind­ful of chang­ing road con­di­tions and lim­it dri­ving on clay roads.

See below the list of camp­sites that are closed until 10 June:

Mur­ray Riv­er Nation­al Park

• Katara­p­ko: Camp­sites 1 – 14, 22 – 24, 26 – 35, 37- 40, 44 – 55 closed (15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 36, 42 & 43 open)
• Lyrup Flats: Camp­sites 1, 13 – 32 closed (2−13 open) lim­it­ed vehi­cle access on All Weath­er Roads only
• Kingston on Mur­ray: Reserve closed

Mor­gan Con­ser­va­tion Park

• Camp­sites 13 – 15 closed

Loch Luna and Moorook Game Reserve

• All Camp­sites closed includ­ing Kaiser Strip, no vehi­cle access into the reserve

Chow­illa Game Reserve

• All Camp­sites closed, lim­it­ed vehi­cle access on All Weath­er Roads only
