Para Wirra Conservation Park

Situated within sight of Para Wirra Drive amongst the gums, this previous picnic area now campsite is suitable for a group of with 1 up to 3 families. The area is suitable for a mixture of tents, swags, camper trailers and 1 caravan. Booking the campsite allows for 1 vehicle's entry. Additional vehicles staying at the Hideaway Campsite will need to be paid for at the time of your book. This is away from the main campground allowing privacy for you and your group, but near visitor facilities and walking trails.
Camping here is convenient for city-dwellers, families and first-time campers. It's located just south-east of Gawler and is one of the closest places to Adelaide that you can camp in a national park.

Access: 2WD and 4WD.
Suitable for tents, camper trailers, small campervans and caravan.
Electricity: Unpowered.
Facilities: Flushing toilets 300m walk, communal gas BBQ.
