Murray River National Park

Park PARTIALLY OPEN - Visitors may access Old Lyrup Road by vehicle. Day Visitors may still access these areas by walking, bike riding, canoe or small boat if safe to do so. It is a great time to explore our parks but please be safe in and around flood waters. All campsites will remain closed until further notice. Please see the Park Alerts for further details. Dogs ARE permitted in the Lyrup Flats area of the park providing they are on a lead.

Includes floodplain on the northern side of the river and ferry at Lyrup. A wonderful opportunity for bird-watching, fishing and camping. Secluded campsites, most with ample shade, are situated along the Murray River, with 2 campgrounds available for group or individual camping.

Access 4WD or 2WD in dry conditions.
Suitable for tent, camper trailer, caravan.
Facilities, long-drop toilets.
NO CAMPFIRES ALLOWED DURING FIRE DANGER SEASON.
Number of campsites, 44 allocated campsites.
Electricity, unpowered.
