Wild South Coast Way on the Heysen Trail

Tapanappa Ridge Road Upgrade
Tapanappa Ridge Road, in Deep Creek National Park, is undergoing roadwork construction to make it safer and easier for park visitors accessing the Wild South Coast Way on the Heysen Trail, Tapanappa Ridge Lookout and campgrounds.
Tapanappa Ridge Road will be closed from 27 February to 30 May 2023 on Mondays through to Fridays only.
Tapanappa Ridge Road access to Tapanappa campground will be open each Friday from 1pm through to Sunday at 1pm to allow for camping on the weekend.
Road access to Tapanappa campground will also be available or public holiday long weekend camping on the March long weekend (11 — 13 March) and over Easter (7 — 10 April).
Yapari (Cliffs) Campground will remain open with access via the Wild South Cast Way on the Heysen Trail during closure times.
Access to the Deep Creek Homestead will remain open during the road construction for those who have booked this accommodation through Southern Ocean Retreats.
