Part closure of Morgan Conservation Park, Loch Luna and Moorook Game Reserve

Recent advice from the Mur­ray-Dar­ling Basin Author­i­ty fore­casts an increase in riv­er flows which will cause more exten­sive flood­ing in our Park. There­fore all camp­sites and some access roads/​tracks are closed.

Kaiser Strip camp­ground — CLOSED
Vis­i­tors may still access this park by walk­ing, bike rid­ing, canoe or small boat if safe to do so.

Loch Luna camp­ground — OPEN for Day Vis­it­ing only (see Loch Luna map)

Closed — access to camp­sites 1, 6 — 11 and Sug­ar­loaf Hill camp­ground
Open — access to camp­sites 2 — 5,

Moorook Camp­ground — CLOSED

Vis­i­tors may still access this park by walk­ing, bike rid­ing, canoe or small boat if safe to do so.

Rangers will con­tin­u­al­ly mon­i­tor our Parks and pro­vide updates on acces­si­bil­i­ty, with a view of reopen­ing when pos­si­ble. Dang­gali Con­ser­va­tion Park remains open with camp­sites avail­able for book­ing. Poogi­nook and Cooltong Con­ser­va­tion Parks are also great places to spend the day.
