Part closure of Morgan Conservation Park

Mor­gan Con­ser­va­tion Park has par­tial­ly reopened, with access to camp­sites 2 to 12 only. The remain­der of the park remains closed to all vehi­cle access. Vis­i­tors may still walk into closed areas for day vis­it­ing and to under­take activ­i­ties such as yab­by­ing or fishing. 

There are still camp­sites dam­aged by the flood that will remain closed. These include: 

- Camp­site 1 and asso­ci­at­ed boat launch area remain closed due to exten­sive dam­age. The area has been closed off with bol­lards to pre­vent fur­ther damage

- Camp­sites 13 to 15 are still closed as they also require repairs and some tree removal

Please help to make this park a great place to vis­it or stay by: 

- only camp­ing in opened and des­ig­nat­ed campsites

- pre­vent­ing dam­age to the envi­ron­ment and Cul­tur­al Her­itage areas by remain­ing on open roads and tracks only, 

— it is an offence to dri­ve off-track, or on closed roads, includ­ing if pre­vi­ous traf­fic has been through, 

— there are high vol­umes of cul­tur­al her­itage through­out the sand dunes at Mor­gan Con­ser­va­tion Park, please be respectful 

- bring­ing your own fire­wood as col­lect­ing wood off of the park is dam­ag­ing to the envi­ron­ment and you may incur a fine

- tak­ing your rub­bish with you

- report­ing any Park relat­ed issues such as unruly behav­ior by oth­ers to the Duty Ranger on Phone: 0417 192 335
