Feral Pest Control Work in Flinders Chase National Park and surroundings

From 19 July until 30 September 2021 a feral pest control program will be in place in Flinders Chase National Park surrounding areas.

During these pest control operations Park visitors will be still able to access the most popular visitor sites within the park. Visitors can still access the tarred road corridor from the Flinders Chase National Park entrance gate, through the Rocky River visitor precinct, along Cape du Couedic road and Boxer drive to Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch and Rocky river visitor precinct sites will remain open during pest control operations.

Visitors will still be able to travel on Cape Borda road access Cape Borda Light station. Cape Borda Light station will remain open for self-guided tour experience during the pest control operations.

The following parks will be closed during pest control operations with access gates locked and signs put in place.

  • Kelly Hill Conservation Park
  • Cape Bouguer Wilderness Protection Area
  • Vivonne Bay Conservation Park
  • Cape Torrens Wilderness Protection Area
  • Parndana Conservation Park
  • Western River Wilderness Protection Area
