Part closure of Kaiserstuhl Conservation Park

Published: 15 November 2022

Due to the recent rains the creek level has increased making access into the main section of the park unpassable by park visitors. This entrance accesses the Stringybark and Wallowa hike trails.

Depending on continuing rain we ask the public not to access the park whilst there is water flowing over the road. There is no access down or up stream to cross safely either. For your safety and that of staff please take care at river crossings whilst they are flooded.

When the creek level drops and it is safe for visitors to cross and access the trails, please take care on the walking trails as they will be wet and slippery, especially where they follow along creeks.
