Alternate Route 3
This detour will depart the usual trail at Chinaman’s Hut Ruin, turning up Chinaman’s Hut Track and re-joining the main trail just below Mount Lofty Summit Road. This alternate route will add an additional 1.4 km in length, each way. The detour offers views over Adelaide and Gulf Saint Vincent along the way. Please allow up to 4.5hrs return.
