Extension of fire danger season for Lake Newland Conservation Park
The SA Country Fire Service (CFS) have extended the 2018-19 Fire Danger Season until 30 April 2019 in this region.
While some parks will not allow any fires to be lit until the Fire Danger Season is over, others are allowing people to have small camp fires in line with CFS campfire regulations. Gas fires and liquid fuel fires are permitted throughout the year, other than on days of total fire ban.
To ensure you are complying with the National Parks and Wildlife Regulations as well as the CFS regulations please contact the Port Lincoln Natural Resources Centre and ask about the park you are wanting to have a campfire in.
