Trail closure in Sturt Gorge Recreation Park

The Horner’s Corners trail which joins the Craigburn Farm portion of Sturt Gorge Recreation Park to Wattle Trail on Coromandel Parade will be closed for approximately one month.

The closure will commence on Monday 19 November 2018 and is due to construction works as part of the finalisation of stage 23 of the Blackwood Park land development.

Pedestrians may utilise River Trail to connect between the Sturt River and Craigburn Farm and cyclists will need to utilise Blackwood Boulevard and suburban roads as there is no bicycle access on River Trail.

Unfortunately, there is no alternate route of similar gradient/surface and as such access with prams and motorised scooters will not be possible.
