Increased stream flows down Eckerts Creek in Murray River National Park
Published: 12 September 2018
The Department for Environment and Water (DEW) is enabling Spring pulse flows down Eckerts Creek from mid-September to end of November 2018 .
The flow will be increased to approximately 400 ML/day (an increase of ~120 ML/day) so visitors may notice more flow and slightly higher water levels within Eckerts Creek and care should be taken as the conditions may have changed since last time you visited.
This water eventually flows into Katarapko Creek and then back into the River Murray so the ecological benefits may be noticed throughout the Murray River National Park.
