You're invited to celebrate Cleland Conservation Park and Cleland Wildlife Park as park of the month in April. The park also features Mt Lofty Summit and the scenic Waterfall Gully.

What’s on

Ranger guided walk

Dates and times:
Saturday 21 April, 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
Sunday 22 April, 9:30 am – 12:00 pm

Join the rangers on a guided hike to Mt Lofty from Crafers and learn about the plants and animals that inhabit the area.This hike is suitable for novice bushwalkers with an average fitness level. It includes moderate inclines and irregular surfaces and is suitable for children over the age of 10.

Meeting point: The trailhead on the corner of Epiphany Place and Waverley Ridge Road opposite Crafers Park ‘n Ride.

Bookings: This event is FREE but registration is essential.

Cleland Wildlife Park night walks

Dates and times:
Friday 13 April 2018, arrival time 6:00 pm for a 6:15 pm start.
Friday 27 April 2018, arrival time 5:45 pm for a 6:00 pm start.

With torches and lanterns to light your way, follow our experienced keeper on a journey of discovery. You will learn all about the park’s nocturnal inhabitants and even see the night feed of the Tasmanian Devils.  

Walks start at dusk and the experience goes for 1.5 hours. Walks are suitable for all ages.

Adult – $50 ($45 for Cleland membership holders)
Child – $40 ($35 for Cleland membership holders)

Cleland Wildlife Park feather, fur and scales self-guided trail

Dates and times: Daily from the 14 to 29 April, 9:30 am – 5:00 pm

Join in this April school holiday fun! Explore the wonderful world of Australian Animals at Cleland Wildlife Park. Be like a scientist and see if you can group some of our Australian animals in our feather, fur and scales self-guided adventure around the park.

Cost: Free with park entry.

Mount Lofty mountain bike descent

Dates and times: Most Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

For the month of April Escapegoat is offering a 10% discount on its guided Mt Lofty to Adelaide mountain bike trip. Descend from Mt Lofty summit, stop at the wildlife park then on through Cleland Conservation Park keeping a watch for the local wildlife.
